You're so excited - you just booked a photoshoot with your favorite photographer.
You've already decided exactly which halter & bride your horse will wear, but deciding on your own ensemble is a little more tricky.
Here are my top 3 tips for picking out what to wear for your next photoshoot:
1. COMFORT FIRST | Let's be honest - we've all been in an outfit that we thought was totally on point, but it was SO uncomfortable that we felt stressed the whole time we were in it. Prioritze comfort and flexiblity in your outfit. If your outfit is so restricting that you can't even lift an arm up to give your pony a pat, it's probably not the outfit for this shoot! The more you can move & be comfortable, the better you'll feel, which will shine through in every image!
2. CONFIDENCE | I don't want to guide you too much on outfit choices, because I want it to be your own! I want you to pick out outfits that make you feel like a million bucks. An outfit that makes you feel your best can truly change how the shoot goes. If you feel confident and beautiful, those emotions are going to show in your photos which is exactly what we want! Don't go with the latest trend or what everyone else is wearing just because you think that's what you "should" do. Go with the outfits that make YOUR heart sing. At the end of the day, these images are for YOU and it's most important that you love the outfit & how you feel in it!
3. VARIETY | I recommend bringing several outfits to our shoot so we can get a lot of variety in your images. Depending on the length of your session, we'll have time for 2-6 total outfits. I like to start off with you in your most casual outfit - typically jeans & a cute top and end with your most formal as the sun is setting & the light is the most romantic.
