EMOTION IS E V E R Y T H I N G ...
My photography style is definitely not "posed & perfect." I like the shots that aren't at all technically "correct." I like the ones where my subject is giving her horse a kiss while she thinks I'm looking at the back of my camera, or the one's where I tell her that Channing Tatum just walked into the barn so she laughs & blushes.
I use prompts for so many of my shots because I absolutely love to capture true emotion, and not just having my subjects standing around posing awkwardly, wondering when the session is going to be over.
At the end of sessions, I always hear, "OMG that went by so quick & was a blast! I forgot we were doing a photoshoot!" And that's what I love to hear.
By the end of a photoshoot, I want it to feel more like hanging out with your bestie than standing around posing for an hour.
